Flow is an immersive performance that explores the discovery of sound, body, and music through the interaction between contemporary dance and jazz. Flow also features two artists on stage (a dancer and a musician) who interact and develop the tools of instant composition and listening. By introducing the youngest audience members to the mechanisms of improvisation, this duo manages to find a common language and tell a story together.
Throughout this experience, Célia's horizontal movements shift to a verticality that gradually anchors itself in space, in constant dialogue with the music. Exploring the subtleties of the drums in parallel, Guillaume questions their elements, their deconstruction, and their capacity to become interactive. In this way, the duo invites young spectators to experience, through improvisation and live composition, the magic of the encounter between body, sound, and space.
