David Bergé - prototype-walk Brussels ..........................................................5, 11, 13 & 16 September 6:15AM

David Bergé has hosted silent Walk Pieces in Berlin, Ostend, Vienna, Aalst, Istanbul and Tokyo. For the exhibition Youth: portraits of artists, between freedom and fight, in Maison Particulière, David Bergé will present a new Walk Piece preceded by a prototype-walk. The prototype-walk consists of two guided walks taking place simultaneously but independently. Over the course of 100 minutes, 6 audience members will walk in silence in a carefully chosen trajectory through the city.
Rather than depicting a place and bringing it into the museum space, the Walk Pieces extend the exhibition experience into a wider site and time specific experience in the urban space, outside the art center. A Walk Piece will be created especially for the occasion of this exhibition and will have
4 prototype-walks during the three weeks the exhibition takes place. After the prototype-walk has taken place, a certificate will be exhibited in Maison Particulière.

As part of group exhibition in Maison Particulière, Brussels, sept 2-21, 2014.
prototype-walks Brussels will take place on september 5, 11, 13, 16 at 6:15 AM

guides: Eglé Budvytyté & David Bergé
graphic design: Goda Budvytyé
hosted by Maison Particulière
thanks to Marie-Pascale Gildemyn
