Gender studies in Belgium - A state of the art (a conference by Sophia vzw)

Sophia, the Belgian network of gender studies, is delighted to invite you to our sixth edition of the State of the Art in Gender Studies in Belgium conference!
Over the course of two days and a half, we will bring together people from academia, civil society and the arts to exchange ideas and practices in a dynamic and interdisciplinary way. Drawing from feminist, queer and intersectional perspectives, our objective is to foster dialogues and collective reflection.
Join us on the 12 & 13 November at Pianofabriek, and on the 14 November at huisvandeMens Brussel, for a rich and diverse programme full of talks, workshops, exhibitions, screenings and more, using a gendered lens to unpack the challenges of our times.
The programme of the conference includes sessions in EN/NL/FR (no simultaneous interpretation).
REGISTRATION
Registration is mandatory for the entire programme. Only ticket holders will be granted access to the venue. The last evening of the conference (14 Nov) is free of charge but a ticket is required.
Sophia makes no profit from the conference and redistributes the proceeds to our volunteers and collaborators.
