Op donderdag 30 juni, vrijdag 1 juli, zaterdag 2 juli, donderdag 7 juli, vrijdag 8 juli, zaterdag 9 juli en zondag 10 juli. Met afterworks, dj's, folkbal, sport, brunch, concerten, films, theater, workshops, etc. Alle activiteiten zijn gratis. Doorlopend van 12uur tot 22 uur.

Babylon Trio is een Irakees trio dat elektro-hedendaagse Arabische muziek speelt, van maqam, al mazoufa, chobi chobi tot dabke en andere Arabische stijlen.
Tijdens zijn jeugd in Bagdad was muzikant Arkan Mushtak een talentvol toetsenist/pianist. Hij wordt begeleid door Irakese collega-muzikanten Walaa Saad (zang en oud luit) en Saif Al-Qaysi (darbouka percussie en zang). Samen spelen ze een mix van hedendaagse Iraakse muziekstijlen, zoals chobi chobi, dabke en elektronische hybriden. Het trio zal eind 2017 een album uitbrengen op het nieuwe Rebel Up Records label, met de hulp van cultureel trefpunt Les Ateliers Claus in Brussel.

Babylon Trio is an Iraqi trio that plays electrified contemporary Arabic music, from maqam, al mazoufa, chobi chobi to dabke and other Arabic styles.
During his Baghdad childhood, musician Arkan Mushtak talented keyboard/piano player. He is accompanied by fellow Iraqi musicians Walaa Saad (vocals and oud lute) and Saif Al-Qaysi (darbouka percussion and vocals). Together they play a mix of contemporary Iraqi music styles, such as chobi chobi, dabke and electronic hybrids. The trio will release an album on the new Rebel Up Records label in late 2017, with the help of cultural venue Les Ateliers Claus in Brussels.
