Rósa & Inga started their collaboration 6 years ago at the beginning of their education at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels. They have collaborated on at least one dance performance each year since and performed their work at various venues around Europe.
In their work they look into ambiguous meaning which arise through a play with words, sounds and objects in relation to movements. In their latest performances; Wilhelm Scream, Radiodance and The Valley they have invested in the art of foley, producing sounds with different objects.
They have been commissioned to make a new creation for the Icelandic Dance Company in the fall of 2016 and are currently in research for that project before heading to Iceland to work with the company. They will continue to investigate various ways to play with words, sounds and movements while taking inspiration from the Dada movement which has 100 years anniversary this year. In the manner of Dada they will look for ways to liberate sounds from words and words from syntax, while always dwelling in the search for new ambiguous meaning which may arise through this dada-play.
