To what place do people wander when they fall asleep? They temporarily interrupt their activities and withdraw from the world. They escape from the globally connected present and enter into a place and a time of their own. But what role do people take when they are witnesses of this withdrawal in a theatre? The Guardians Of Sleep is a collective attempt of defiance in a switched-on universe that doesn’t have an “off”-button.
